“Last year’s Dog Show was a fantastic hit, with such a great number people attending and so many dogs taking part in the range of events and activities. Young and old were able to enjoy the day and we were thrilled to see not just familiar faces but many new attendees, who came for a day out to support the sanctuary. We are hoping for even greater success this year”. Clare Campbell, Centre Manager.Â
Clare added “We are incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful show ground courtesy of the Whitminster House Estate and some great sponsors supporting us, including Toilets4hireltd mobile toilets, Alpha Tent Hire marquee and equipment hire and Whitminster House self catering cottages”.Â
In 2015 Teckels Animal Sanctuaries, located in Whitminster, rehomed 117 dogs and 259 cats. With the aim of finding dogs and cats ‘right first time’ forever homes, the charity offers not just palliative care but also invests in the rehabilitation of their animals.
All funds raised from this event will help greatly towards the care of the unwanted and abandoned cats and dogs it looks after.Â
