A former Church of England bishop who sexually abused 18 young men has been freed from prison halfway through his 32 months jail sentence.
Peter Ball was jailed in October 2015 after pleading guilty to a string of historical offences.
A lawyer who represented some of his victims says the 84-year-old’s early release is “an affront to justice”.
He was bishop of Lewes and Gloucester.
