An uplifting evening of beautiful music, poignant readings and thoughtful reflections to mark 100 years since the end of WW1, the formation of the RAF and to recognise the contribution made by the people of Gloucestershire.
The first half will focus on remembrance, acknowledging the journey of those who served, who sacrificed and survived, with the second half featuring uplifting and stirring music with the theme of hope and celebration.
Featuring the D-Day Darlings fresh from ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, Gloucestershire Symphony Orchestra, supported by Gloucestershire Police Male Voice Choir and joined by distinguished speakers to include BAFTA Fellowship recipient and war correspondent, Kate Adie CBE and compered by BBC’s Steve Knibbs. All proceeds will help fund the ABF: The Soldiers’ Charity and Alabaré’s Gloucestershire Homes for Veterans.
