From beautiful grassy spots to hidden medieval churchyards, Gloucester has some perfect places to enjoy an urban picnic – with Gloucester BID and Visit Gloucester teaming up to share the city’s best picnic spots.
With the sun in the sky and the easing of some lockdown restrictions meaning we can now meet up to six people or two households outside, there couldn’t be a better time to get outdoors for a bite to eat.
With this in mind, Gloucester BID has teamed up with Visit Gloucester to highlight some of the very best spots in Gloucester for an urban picnic.
Visit Gloucester has compiled a list of some of the best spots in the city to enjoy alfresco dining, while Gloucester BID have been highlighting local venues for you to stock up on picnic essentials as well as creating a map featuring all of the urban picnic spots along with nearby toilets.
