The King’s School, Gloucester, has been Enriching Education since 1541.
For parents looking for a forward-thinking, pupil-centred, inspirational education for their child – a visit to The King’s School in Gloucester is a must and our open morning on Saturday 14th May, is a great opportunity to visit on a typical school day and see our teaching and learning in action.
King’s is an award-winning, independent day school with just over 700 pupils, girls and boys, aged 3 to 18. We are adjacent to Gloucester Cathedral, which is integral to the life of the School, giving us a special sense of identity. Whilst our history and surroundings are inspiring, King’s provides something even more valuable – a genuine love of learning. We do this by offering stimulating and engaging lessons in small classes and also by encouraging children to pursue their personal interests; the range of co-curricular activities in Sport, Music, Performing and Creative Arts is varied and truly enriching.
We celebrate individual talent and excellence and pupils of all ages have a very strong sense of community, soon becoming supportive team members. This blend of personal achievement and team spirit is one of the defining qualities of King’s.
We also know that growing-up can be challenging so pastoral care is a high priority. Working in close partnership with parents, we create a secure environment where children of all abilities can thrive and be happy.
You can read much more about us on our website, but if you are new to King’s there is nothing better than seeing our School in action and experience this unique environment for yourself.
We warmly welcome visitors to King’s next Open Morning on Saturday 14th May. If you would like to attend please pre-register via the School website, www.thekingsschool.co.uk.
