Appeal for witnesses and footage following robbery at supermarket in Barnwood by | Gloucester News Centre - http://gloucesternewscentre.co.uk/Police are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage following a robbery at a supermarket in Gloucester on Friday.
Officers were called to the Aldi supermarket on Hucclecote Road in Barnwood at 10.15pm after it was reported that a man armed with a metal pole had threatened an employee.
The man then went on make demands for money before leaving the store with nothing being taken.
He was described as being a medium build, around 5ft 8ins tall and had a local accent.
He wearing a tracksuit, white plastic builder’s hat, had a dark covering over his face and was carrying a blue carrier bag.
The man left the supermarket on foot going onto Hucclecote Road in the direction of North Upton Lane
If you witnessed the incident, saw the man or have any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of any suspicious activity in the area between 10.10pm and 10.30pm please contact police.
