Gloucester Business Improvement District is looking for 10 BID businesses to take part in a trial parking project.
Following on from the hairdressers C14’s successful offer ‘Book a cut or colour with any stylist and get your parking taken off the total! Just bring proof of parking with you’, we would like to trial this with 10 other BID businesses, and the BID would pay for 50% of the reimbursed parking fee.
For example, a customer who spends over a certain amount at your business will show their parking ticket/app and then you, the business, will reimburse that customers parking ticket for that day, either by cash or taking the amount off the purchase. The business will collate this data (date, amount spent and parking amount – preferably with photo) and send through to Gloucester BID to claim back 50% of the parking amount.
The business can set the amount of the spend threshold, ie £30 or more. The parking ticket must valid for the same day of purchase/spend. And the business must collate proof of purchase and parking to be able to claim back 50% from Gloucester BID. You are responsible for collecting this.
