Gloucester Business Improvement District (BID) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manager for their Runaway Reindeer Trail around this city this Christmas.
The trail, which includes 12 x 6ft reindeers decorated by local artists, are due to ‘runaway’ again across the city of Gloucester and Gloucester Quays.
Emily Gibbon, Manager at Gloucester BID says, “We are looking for a Project Manager to come on-board and join our small team to manage this project for us. From managing the reindeers, organising where they need to go, moving them into place, ensuring they are in tip-top condition, to creating the trail map, promoting before and during the event, plus sewing the seed for auctioning them off in the New Year for a local charity or selection of local charities. We are also looking for a creative ‘twist’ on the reindeer trails we have organised before!”
The trail, which is due to launch on 2nd December, to coincide with Small Business Saturday, will be a fun family event bringing festive cheer to the streets of Gloucester city centre and Gloucester Quays.
If you feel you have what it takes to run this project and come onboard with the Gloucester BID team to manage this fun and exciting Christmas Trail, send in your applications to Emily Gibbon, Manager at Gloucester BID via by Friday 3rd November 2023.
Please include details of yourself, your experience, examples of previous events organised, plus a brief outline on how you would plan/carry out this project for us, as well as a breakdown of the proposed budget and your ideas for the creative ‘twist’!. Here’s a link to the brief.
