The Adult Education Service aims to enable adults in Gloucestershire to use learning to improve their own lives and those of their families through personal development and enhanced skills for employment and to contribute to improvements in the quality of life of the communities in which they live. They do this through working in partnership with a wide range of organisations from the public, private and voluntary sector, and by focusing on the needs and aspirations of those groups of people and geographical communities which have been identified as strategic priorities for action.
