Gloucester Civic Trust organises Gloucester Festival of Archaeology in partnership with Gloucester Cathedral and several organisations and Heritage venues in Gloucester. Working together we bring a host of activities designed to appeal to residents and visitors alike by encouraging everyone to look up and down and explore the city for the day through a range of fun and low-cost activities.
This year our theme is Gloucester under the surface. Through a series of talks in amazing venues like the Guildhall, Gloucester Cathedral and The Folk of Gloucester we will be shining a light on the amazing archaeology that has been undertaken in the city and exploring what it means for the understanding of the past.
There will be lots of talks, tours, trails and activities for all.
