Gloucester Shanty Festival 4th-5th June

Gloucester Sea Shanty Festival to return alongside Tall Ships.
Sea Shanties have become a viral trend on Tik Tok, and now they arrive on Gloucester’s ‘shores’ at the 2022 Gloucester Shanty Festival. Expect lots of rhythmic thigh slapping and catchy nautical folk songs at the event.
It straddles the Queen’s Jubilee weekend of June 4 and 5, and will be playing alongside the Gloucester Tall Ships Festival, the most appropriate of settings. The Docks and pubs will of course be awash with music inspired by seafarers everywhere.
