Scars Across Humanity, with Elaine Storkey

In recent years, we have become increasingly aware of injustices such as modern-day slavery, institutional discrimination and ideological hate crimes; and Christians have begun to respond to these issues. Gender-based violence, though, remains unaddressed in many places – despite being a daily reality for thousands of people across many cultures. Elaine Storkey will lead a moving, challenging and inspiring evening looking at what gender-related violence is, where it comes from, and why we should be aware of it. This evening will look at what the Nelson Trust does locally to serve and support vulnerable women.
