Gloucester and its Tall Ships
For nearly 200 years Gloucester Docks have been welcoming Tall masted sailing ships, this weekend is a reminder of the days when Gloucester traded with the world.
The last masted ships stopped trading around 1960 since then sailing ships have visited for pleasure, maintenance and for film work.
This is a short history of the ships visiting the docks and the stories behind the voyages and the people involved.
