Gloucestershire Police are appealing for witnesses after a car collided into a house in Matson, Gloucester.

The incident happened at around 7.45pm on Sunday 12 June when a silver Vauxhall Zafira was being driven along Baneberry Road. It then collided with another vehicle and a house on Norbury Avenue.

The driver of the Zafira ran from the scene and has not yet been traced. Enquiries are also ongoing to identify any passengers in the vehicle.

PC James Stringer, investigating the incident, said: “The owners of the property were very shocked and lucky to not have been seriously injured. The property’s infrastructure is safe and secure. This incident could have been a lot worse.

“We want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or a man fleeing the scene. The driver has put himself and members of the public at serious risk and police are eager to identify him so he can be brought to justice.”
