Gloucester City Council is reminding residents that refuse and recycling collections due on Monday 29th August will be taking place as usual.

Dawn Fearn, recycling and waste manager, said: “Our waste service provider, Amey, will be working normal hours during bank holiday Monday on 29th August.

“We would continue to encourage people to recycle as much as possible, as bank holidays tend to generate additional waste as families take the opportunity to meet up or get out and about. Crews will collect recycling and food waste weekly, and there will be no change to garden waste collections either.”
