Like most businesses over the past 18 months, the Eastgate Street premises has faced several challenges. But now, with a wealth of offers and exciting events planned, The Vine is enjoying extending a warm welcome to its customers once again.
Rich in charm & heritage, The Vine Bar & Kitchen boasts a unique experience from its rustic home in a beautiful 17th Century, grade II listed building. You can enjoy authentic Thai cuisine cooked by the Phumin Thai Kitchen along with a varied cocktail menu.
Its rooms have been decorated with unique and individual themes which are perfect for event hire. Whether it is a baby shower, engagement party, hen-do, birthday or Christmas party, The Vine can cater for your every need with tailormade event catering packages.
Along with a Halloween party coming soon, you’ll be able to enjoy a Winter Wonderland at The Vine during December and there are plans for a café launch in November.
Owner Angela Lovell has transformed The Vine Bar & Kitchen since she took on the 3-storey building in 2019. Angela’s aesthetic business was looking to grow & develop so she took on a bigger premises to accommodate her treatment centre. The bar and kitchen side of the building then developed into a main part of the offer.
Angela is now keen to attract more customers and is looking forward to new investment transforming Gloucester. She said, ‘Gloucester is a beautiful city, and it’s regenerating. We think it’s like a mini-Bristol as it’s so diverse. We want people to enjoy the beautiful setting here at The Vine, our unique cocktails and friendly atmosphere. We have so have much going on for different types of people.’

• Cafe launch – 11-4 FREE cakes, sandwiches – Thursday 11th November.
• Christmas set menu £22 inc. a glass of prosecco or bottle of beer.
• Rugby Day offer £10 for a beer and Thai curry – ongoing.
