We are pleased to launch our first t-shirt design competition for Gloucester Folk Trail 2025. As a very creative city, young and old, we are looking forward to seeing what inspirational, original and exciting designs you come up with to help celebrate the Gloucester Folk Trail and what it means to you and the city! The winning t-shirt will be produced as one of the main pieces of merchandise for next year’s event in February.
The Brief
• The design must reflect, promote or celebrate the Gloucester Folk Trail and you can include any elements you like; the people, folklore, buildings, environment, music, performances etc.
• Simple designs usually work best. You should consider the design’s suitability and relevance to the Folk Trail and its audience.
• The design should include no more than 5 colours.
• The design needs to include the Gloucester Folk Trail logo.
• The wording ‘Gloucester Folk Trail 2025’ must be included.
• The design must be an image suitable to be placed onto the front of a t-shirt that best suits the design (no sleeve or back image please).
• Designs must be original, and can be hand drawn or painted artwork, or electronically designed.
The Prize
• Acknowledgement in the 2025 Gloucester Folk Trail Programme and on our website.
• One free t-shirt with the winning design.
