Following its success last year, the Gloucester Americana Festival is back this weekend and will be better than before!

With more locations across the city, the Americana Music Festival will be heard far and wide during the weekend of 4th & 5th October, so save the dates!

Starting this Friday at 5.30pm, until 11pm on Saturday, this exciting music festival in Gloucester kicks off at Hop Kettle with Envy, followed by a multitude of gigs taking to the stage at various venues, including The Drunken Duck, The Pelican, The Turks Head, Brewhouse & Kitchen, Our House and Caffe Corretto. Several of which are new for this year!

Ryan, General Manager at Hop Kettle, Gloucester Food Dock, says “Here at hop kettle we are keen to get involved with the amazing live music scene here in Gloucester. We are excited to becoming part of the collective that is going on in the city centre.”

Award-winning songwriter, Stuart Earl, who will be playing at Brewhouse and Kitchen on Saturday evening, says ‘I am really looking forward to the festival and playing some songs that I don’t get to play very often. Gloucester is where it started for me, so it’s always a pleasure to play here.’

Owen Acland, Director at Gloucester BID, says “Gloucester is already well-known for being host to many well-attended (and loved) festivals and events, including Gloucester Goes Retro, Rhythm & Blues, History Festival and the Lantern Procession. So, bringing the Americana Music Festival back for another year, due to popular demand, shows there is a passion for free events in the city for locals and visitors alike to enjoy.”
