#GloucesterCan January Pledge is a call to action for individuals and families living in Gloucester to bring some kindness back into the communities where they live.
One of the most encouraging things to witness during the first lockdown was the undeniable rise in community action. Residents across Gloucester spent more time taking care of and valuing the relationships they had with their neighbours. From picking up prescriptions for vulnerable individuals, to holding Zoom Quizzes, streets and neighbourhoods across the city connected in meaningful ways.
It is fair to say that communities have become fatigued with their community spirit, during what was a difficult 2020. #GloucesterCan wants to see communities coming together once more to care for their neighbours, bringing fun and hope to their streets and homes.
With that in mind, #GloucesterCan is asking Gloucester residents to pledge to completing five simple acts of kindness during January, showing their neighbours that they appreciate them in their own creative way.
