Business grants for Tier 2 and Tier 3
If you are already in receipt of a grant payment you do not need to re-apply, the grant level will automatically be adjusted.
Local Restrictions Support Grant (Open) version 2:Â
Is the business hospitality, hotel, bed & breakfast, leisure, events or in the DIRECT supply chain of these businesses?
AND
Is the business still open?
AND
Has trade reduced due to COVID?
If yes to ALL OF THE ABOVE the business may be eligible for an ‘Open’ grant
Please note – if the business has not remained open you cannot apply for this grant.
Local Restriction Support Grant (Closed) version 2:
Has the business been mandated by the Government to close?
AND
The business cannot be operated from elsewhere
If YES to ALL of the above, you may be eligible for a ‘Closed’ grant
Please note – if the business has not been mandated to close you will not be eligible for this grant
Local Restrictions Support Grant – Christmas Support Payment – Pubs ‘wet led’:
Is the business a ‘wet led’ pub – that is, are more than 50% of the sales usually as a result of alcohol?
AND
Do your food sales normally account for less than 50% of your takings?
AND
Is the pub normally open for free entry to the general public?

Local Restrictions Support Grant (Sector):
Has the business been mandated to close from 23 March 2020 because it is a nightclub, discotheque, hostess bar or sexual entertainment venue?
If yes, you may be eligible for a ‘Sector’ grant

Local Restrictions Support Grant (Addendum):
Eligible businesses instructed to close by Government during National Lockdown (05 November – 02 December) still have time to apply for a one-off support grant under the Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) Addendum scheme.
To be eligible for the Local Restrictions Support Grant, your business rated property must be in the Gloucester City Council area and fall under one of the categories on the government’s list of businesses forced to close. Please note that if the majority of your business has been forced to close but you are operating a takeaway or click and collect service, you may still be eligible for a grant.
