Here is the latest update on Project Solace from Adam Stevens, Street Aware Lead Officer, Gloucester

“Just a quick update for you regarding the work that is still ongoing in the City regarding anti-social behaviour.

Whilst the enhanced section of Operation Ebrius has come to an end there is still work ongoing by the City Protection Officers, Neighbourhood Policing Team, myself and the wider Solace team to keep a visible presence and deterrent in the City. This includes CPO Gemma continuing to work directly with myself and Neighbourhood Policing to ensure there are regular, dedicated patrols to concentrate on alcohol related ASB, street homelessness and begging using the Street Aware model of Engage, Support, Enforce.

Please can I remind all members of the importance of reporting Anti-Social behaviour. It is important that we can fully understand any trends in behaviours so that we can work with our partners to tackle them. These reports are also really important when trying to obtain injunctions, as without them we can sometimes struggle to provide enough evidence.

Please report to . If you are reporting via DISC please also send the report to the ASB inbox.

As always if you have any questions, concerns or observations please feel free to contact me via any of the channels listed below. I’m always open to a conversation!”
