Donald Insall have been employed by Gloucester City Council to review the existing city centre conservation area management plan.
There are 2 principal reasons for this; Firstly it is a statutory duty to review these documents and secondly the Council wants to ensure it is up to date and still relevant. This will include picking up any changes that have happened since the management plan was written (in 2007) and identifying any issues which require management in some way.
This could be through suggesting additional guidance is provided or bringing in more enforcement powers for the council. As such, it would be really helpful to hear from anyone who visits, lives or works in the area, particular around any issues that they see, or any really positive elements which could be used as examples for others.
