The sixth stage of the Tour of Britain cycle race finishes in Gloucester Friday 9th September.
With the start and finish locations separated by a little over 10 miles, fans will easily be able to attend both on race day, which will further add to the atmosphere at this free-to-watch sporting spectacle. Stage six’s route will head into the Cotswolds before approaching the finish by the historic Gloucester Docks via South Gloucestershire.

Severn Road – Full road closure from Commercial Road to Llanthony Road
The Quay – Full road closure from Commercial Road to Quay Street
Ladybellgate Street – Closed at junction with Commercial Road
Longsmith Street – Closed at junction with Southgate Street
Commercial Road – Full road closure from Kimbrose Way to Southgate Street
Southgate Street – Full road closure from Kimbrose Way to Longsmith Street
Parliament Street – Full road closure from Southgate Street to Brunswick Road
Commercial Road – Full road closure from Kimbrose Way to The Quay
Kimbrose Way – Full road closure from Southgate Street to Commercial Road
Llanthony Road – Full road closure from Southgate Street to Severn Road
Spa Road – Full road closure from Southgate Street to Brunswick Road
Access to the car parks on Ladybellgate Street and Longsmith Street will be maintained.
Exit from the Westgate area is via Quay Street to turn right onto The Quay, or via Archdeacon Street.
