Gloucester BID is delighted to confirm the return of Dino-ROAR Weekend, set to roar into Kings Square on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June 2026. Bigger and better than ever, the popular event will once again turn the heart of Gloucester into a prehistoric playground, packed with fun for families, children, and dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages.
Delivered in partnership with RentaDinosaur and the Kings Quarter, this FREE, family-friendly event will feature a packed programme of activities, including ‘How to Train Your Dinosaur’ shows, T-Rex and Megalosaurus walkabouts, fossil digs, baby dino feeding, and much more.

Returning for 2026 with even more to enjoy, Dino-ROAR Weekend promises an expanded schedule of shows, activities, and immersive experiences. Visitors can look forward to high-energy Dino-ROAR performances that bring prehistoric creatures to life through engaging storytelling and interactive entertainment that is both educational and inspiring.
Throughout the weekend, guests will also have the opportunity to get up close with roaming dinosaurs as they make their way through Kings Square. These lifelike prehistoric characters are guaranteed to amaze audiences and offer unforgettable photo opportunities.
A variety of dinosaur-themed craft activities will be available across both days, providing hands-on creative fun for younger attendees, who can create and take home their very own prehistoric keepsakes.
